Delete Your Account

Deleting your account is entirely up to you. On Laya, account deletion works exactly like it does in the app: your account first enters a 30-day grace period, after which it is permanently deleted.
A 30-day grace period
The moment you delete your account, your profile is hidden and can no longer be seen by anyone. Your data is kept for 30 days; if you change your mind within that window, your account is fully restored. When the window ends, your account and personal data are permanently and irreversibly deleted.
Deleting your account from the app
- 1Open the Laya app.
- 2Go to Settings → Account.
- 3Tap “Delete my account”.
- 4Confirm — your account enters the 30-day grace period.
What happens after you delete?
Your profile is hidden
Your profile instantly disappears from discovery, matches and chats.
Your data is preserved
If you come back within this window, your account is restored with nothing lost.
Permanent deletion
Your account and personal data are permanently and irreversibly deleted.
Changed your mind?
Just sign back into the app before the 30 days are up to restore your account in one tap. You won't lose anything.
Can't access the app?
If you've lost your phone or can't sign in, email us from the address registered to your account. Once we verify your identity, we'll delete your account through the same 30-day process.
Send a deletion requestNote: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel App Store or Google Play subscriptions. If you have an active subscription, cancel it separately in the relevant store.
