Laya is a dating platform exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. We place the highest priority on child safety and maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward any content or behavior involving child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This policy explains the measures we take to keep minors off the platform and to prevent abuse.
1. Age Limit and Verification
- Date of birth is collected during registration; users found to be under 18 are blocked from access.
- If we suspect a user is a minor, we may request additional verification and, if necessary, suspend the account.
- Accounts determined to belong to anyone under 18 are closed immediately.
2. Prohibited Content and Zero Tolerance
The following are strictly prohibited and result in immediate account closure:
- Any content that involves, encourages, or references child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE/CSAM);
- Visual/text content depicting or sexualizing minors;
- Grooming or similar behavior that endangers children.
3. Reporting
If you believe a minor is on the platform or you encounter content that violates child safety:
- Use the "Report" option on the relevant profile or message;
- Report urgent matters to destek@laya.dating.
All reports are reviewed quickly and confidentially.
4. Response and Legal Reporting
- Violating content is removed and the relevant account(s) are closed.
- Identified child sexual abuse content is reported to the competent authorities and relevant organizations (e.g., bodies to which reporting is legally required) in accordance with applicable laws.
- Where necessary, evidence is preserved and shared with authorities in compliance with applicable law.
